Well we did it. Years ago we promised to make Burns Lake a world class mountain biking destination, and not only do we think we have made that a reality, others see the value in the riding experiences here in Burns Lake that they make it part of their operations in promoting events that draw visitors from across the country and around the world.

While these 3rd party tour operations or coaching clinics and their events aren't part of Ride Burns, we do foster relationships between our organization and theirs. We support their events by making sure the trails and campsite are ready for them, and they contribute to our maintenance program, it is mutually beneficial and supports our vision statement of "Burns Lake is a world class mountain biking destination and a vibrant mountain biking community."

So check out what they offer and how to reach out to them.

The New Frontier

Explore: Prince George, Burns Lake, Smithers, and Terrace.

In the summer, the days are long up North and our goal at BC Bike RIDE is to max out each day with as much fun as humanly possible, right until the last embers of the campfire burn out. Together, we will be a nomadic tribe of fun loving mountain bikers exploring the great Northern Corridor of Highway 16 – Prince George, Burns Lake, Smithers, and Terrace.

Geographically, Northern British Columbia is larger than California, yet there are more bears than people! The people are hearty, warm and adventurous. The bears… they are wild and they roam free. The mountain bikers you will meet are proud of their handcrafted trails and they are excited to introduce you to their stashes of prime singletrack that relatively few people have ever ridden.
